It all started with a piece of corn. The thought was that if there was a way to make a piece of corn fly through water it would present something to the fish they had never seen before. It all came together when my most wonderful and beautiful partner booked a trip for us to Sedona, Arizona. The Grand Canyon was a sight to see and a wonderfall of color during the sunset, but the most remarkable experience we had while visiting was at a restaurant called Elote by Jeff Smedstad. A phenomenal meal was certainly experienced, but what I will never forget was the feeling that every breathing moment of the entire team’s concept at the restaurant was executed flawlessly while always making the dining in feel at home. We will always remember out roots and inspirations at Custom Bait and Lure.

Brandon Brown was raised in cycles of four perfect seasons of Kansas by a set of parents who lead with honesty, loyalty compassion and love. His inspiration for being persistent comes from his father, always finding a way to improve upon anything as well as creating grounded and no-nonsense solutions to common and uncommon problems alike. His inspiration to hustle comes from his mother, watching at a young age as she turned outstanding deals into smiling faces and timeless memories. Brandon is thankful as well for his brothers and sister who remind him to never give up and know that those you love will always be by your side. However, none of this would be possible without the support, encouragement and experience from his wife who has been the foundational pillar on which Brandon can rest his heart.
